With these 4 simple steps. You’ll be able to export data for a YouTube Channel data exported in no time.

Step 1: View The Channel Inside YouTube Studio

Once you’ve logged into YouTube. First, you’ll want to go to the channel that you want to export the data for.

A quick way to do this is to click your profile image in the top-right-hand corner of the screen. Then click ‘View your channel’. You may need to ‘Switch account’ to make sure you are viewing the right channel first.

Now, you’ll need to scroll down on the left-hand side navigation. Until you see the ‘More from YouTube’ section.

Exporting YouTube Channel data. Start by going to the YouTube Studio.

Click the ‘YouTube Studio’ option. A new tab will open taking you to your studio area.

Step 2: View Your YouTube Channel Analytics

Now that you’re inside YouTube Studio. You’ll see a different navigation on the left-hand side.

Here, click the Analytics option.

This will refresh the screen and show you an overview of how your channel is performing.

Step 3: Switch To ‘Advanced Mode’

Once you’re inside your YouTube Channel analytics. You will need to switch to ‘ADVANCED MODE’ to be able to export your data.

To do this, there’s a link at the top-right of the analytics screen.

Click this link and a new screen will appear over the top of the analytics data.

This will give you more options to filter your data and dig a little deeper into your YouTube Channel analytics.

As well as giving you a few more options.

Step 4: Export Data For A YouTube Channel

Now, once you’re in the ‘ADVANCED MODE’, At the top-right of the screen. There will be 3 buttons. With the first button on the left being a down arrow. This is the export button. Click this button to start the export process.

There are two options to export your YouTube Channel data.

First, you can export it to Google Sheets. This will open a new tab in your browser and display the data.

Alternatively, you can download the data as a CSV and open this file using other tools, like Microsoft Excel.

Top Tip: If you want to export data for different periods you can. Before you click export, change the ‘Date’ option to refresh the data, then click ‘Export’. YouTube’s advanced mode is extremely flexible, it allows you to choose from set options. Or define the period yourself.
